Guild Wars 2 Free
Sep 18, 2012 - ArenaNet announced today that Guild Wars 2 is now available on Mac. You can download the Mac Beta client now—just log into your account.
ArenaNet and NCsoft announced today that Guild Wars 2 will support Mac computers in addition to Windows PCs. Of course, things are not always easy so players who purchase the game will be able to play only a beta version of it as it is still being optimised. The interesting thing is that unlike other betas, this one will be connected to live servers so Mac players will be able to enjoy the game with their friends with a Windows based computers. After activating their game code, players will be able to download the beta client from the Guild Wars 2 account management website.
It’s also worth noting that ArenaNet is partnering with TransGaming whose “Cider” technology translates between operating environments. This also means that future updates will be available for both operating systems at the same time. In case you’re one of the few who doesn’t have a copy of Guild Wars 2 yet, we have a great Guild Wars 2 going on until the 24th September 2012.
